The title could just as well have been “The Journey that is Life”.
Hopefully the three other chapters of this book will provide you with all the information you need on “the (conscious activation) steps to be taken” in life, to become that most powerful co-creator of your life and reality. The information contained in those other chapters concerns you, and only you; while to others their views as to what to do with the information, or not do with it.
One can only open one’s own eyes. One can only activate one’s own energetic being to the fullest. The others need to do that for themselves, each one for him-herself. It is something we can only truly do for ourselves. You can of course (try to) set an example.
Please undertake then the search for insights on the “journey of life” for yourself!
Do it for yourself, without forcing this upon anyone else. Each of us will get to the stage of a conscious journey when and if we are fully ready and prepared.
It is said that the Cycle will go on “until the last pilgrim has arrived”.
Some - even most - of us are at present content with the life that is being led, i.e. working to provide for themselves and their loved ones, sleeping and eating. Nothing wrong with that, but if and when you wish to embark on a quest, setting out on the Path that is spirituality, then the knowledge and insights which our ancestors obtained using that other part of our being, the intuitive-creative part, will be of great use to you.
The first part of this chapter, Part I, aims at providing a brief summary of what the current state is of the knowledge of humanity as to all things great and small, and at the same time linking this to information derived from the sacred texts of our ancestors. The latter is included to indicate that theirs was knowledge that was not of a rational and ‘matter-ial’ nature but knowledge of an intuitive-spiritual nature. It concerns knowledge the origin of which we hardly understand anymore, but which is equally important for human beings ... if not even more so! The knowledge derived from the findings of science of the past couple of centuries slowly but surely indicated the strange nature of Reality, something the masters, sages and prophets of old already hinted at.
The second part of this chapter, Part II, deals with a number of topics that provide for concrete and “usable” information based on what the rational and the intuitive together provide. The insights into Life derived from spiritual sources have a very practical use as well, a use that has slipped to the background.
May what follows help you to “know”. And may you apply then this knowledge in your everyday life; for as with dancing where the purpose of the dance lies in dancing, the purpose of Life lies in “living”, which is not the same as “being lived”.
Live your life as enlightened as possible.
